The Boys creator Eric Kripke will return for season 3 as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (Preacher) also continue on as executive producers. Just like the show’s first two seasons, The Boys season 3 will feature eight episodes. No release date has been announced yet but when the third season premieres it will be available in all of Prime Video’s international markets in addition to the U.S. This coming season of The Boys will find the team on the run following the events of the first season. Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon), and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adapt to their new lives while also keeping an eye out for the missing Butcher. Uber-popular superhero team The Seven will return as well, highlighted by Homelander (Anthony Starr), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), and The Deep (Chace Crawford).  Joining the cast for season 2 are Aya Cash (You’re the Worst) as Stormfront and Patton Oswalt in an undisclosed role.  Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys will premiere on August 28 with a look back at season 1. The show will continue to air weekly alongside The Boys, culminating in an October 9 finale for both series.
